Random is impossible. You may think that by rolling dice or using a random number generator that you are truly synthesizing raw data but you really are not. Any random number generator uses an equation to generate a number based on the current time, date, etc... Even rolling dice isn't random because if you could eliminate all the variables; the gravitational pull on the dice, the angle at which they are tossed and at what altitude with what velocity, the friction of the surface they land on, the elastic potential energy in the dice and surface that they land on, the list goes on. Once you eliminate every possible variable you would be able to calculate the exact spot the dice would stop and what number they land on.
